The Approvals page controls what other organizations see. It shows the live version, the version in progress and the full version history.
Signing off a version
- Once a draft is submitted it shows as In review.
- A teammate with the Admin, Approver or Governance role selects Sign off this version, chooses the capacity they're signing in (for example Security Officer, Legal Counsel or Director / Executive), adds an optional note, and selects Record sign-off. Several people can sign off the same version.
- To send it back instead, select Request changes… and say what needs fixing. The version returns to draft, its sign-offs are cleared, and it must be submitted again.
Publishing
- After at least one sign-off, select Publish. The new version replaces the previous live one.
- At the moment of publishing, BordersHub captures a signed, fingerprinted record of exactly what was published (see Verifying a document).
- Unpublish takes your profile off the platform immediately. Partners can no longer open it, but their trust relationships, your data and your history are kept. To come back, approve and publish a new version.
History and comparison
- Compare versions lists every difference between two versions: company particulars, each answer and the evidence register. Use What changed since live before signing off.
- Each published version can be opened as a document. From there you can Download verifiable copy or print it.
