The website badge lets you show visitors to your own website that your trust profile is published on BordersHub, and lets them check it. Open Website Badge in the sidebar.
What the badge shows
- Your company name.
- The published version and the date it was published.
- The start and end of the document's SHA-256 fingerprint.
- A QR code that opens your public registry entry. Clicking the badge opens the same page.
It never shows your declarations or evidence. Those stay visible only to your team and companies you approve.
When there's nothing to vouch for, because you haven't published yet or have unpublished, the badge turns grey with a dashed border and says Not verified on BordersHub and No published trust profile. It never shows the purple shield in that state, so it can't be mistaken for a verified badge.
The badge is part of the subscription: without one, it shows the same grey "not verified" state, even if your profile is published. When a subscription ends, the badge stays verified during the grace period first.
Adding it to your website
- Choose the Light or Dark badge, whichever suits your site's background.
- Select Copy next to the code and paste it into your website where the badge should appear, for example in the footer or on your security page. Most website builders accept it as a custom HTML block.
- If your tool only takes an image link, copy the Image address only and link the image to your public registry entry.
Good to know
- The code contains your Company ID, which never changes, so you only add it once.
- After you publish a new version, the badge updates within about 20 minutes as caches refresh. If you unpublish, it switches to the grey Not verified badge in the same time.
- While your account is suspended, the badge shows as Not verified. It comes back on its own when the suspension is lifted.
- The badge is a plain image with no scripts or tracking.
- Visitors can check the document behind the badge on the Verify page.
